pour a gallon of gas on it and light it on fire... now that i think of it will todays gas even burn when you throw a match on it...:ugh2:

My laptop just did this a couple weeks ago. It turned out being the hard drive. I would turn it on, it would have a toshiba title screen, then the screen went blue. I couldnt get it to install the recovery disc or anything. I installed a new hard drive and installed my system recovery disc that came with the computer, and now it works great.

same here..turns out my cooling system was clogged..but it lasted almost 8 years so not complaining
all the assy grease ended up melting and had to be shaved off with a razor.....
I just gave the thing to my dad for parts and have been shopping a new one lately....

That ass grease is good stuff, we used to keep our newbie maintenance techs busy for hours tracking down a tube of A.S.S. Grease. "and make sure it's the Gold stuff"..."A.S.S Gold?,... yup that's the stuff! Go ask the ladies in stores to help you, lol.

passed a friend that lives 2 doors down from me last night, called her up and told her she needed to turn around, her Muffler Bearings dropped out. She was like "HUH?"..........Your not my friend anymore, so I get home and tell my wife that, she was like "HUH?". I was laughing. I said it is kinda like Blinker Fluid. Then she got it.

well, you can find the answer to one basic question: does it run all right in the bios. try opening the bios and see if you're able to navigate the menus. when the bios no longer works properly, it's a good indication that hardware is at fault. have you ascertained the warranty status?
