great product from Carl (Dangerboy) at Cold Fusion.
-1.75 turnplate using stock bushings. i bought one for my brothers sn

gonna have to trim the chinpad to make it fit on the square

everything went together well and you cant beat the price!

the steering action radius looks really small..... otherwise great looking plate.

im sure its spot on to OEM specs....

yeah, stock steering positions just 1.75" shorter. i'll probly make a bracket to move the cable out somehow

But why go through all that work for a new one and keep OEM steering specs? Thats the first thing I change on a boat, as I dont like slow steering ratios.

Not nocking the product though. Looks great!

by shortening the plate you incrase the ratio and make the steering faster...however, the amount of throw remains the same..


longer pole with shorter plate = faster steering


a shortened pole with a stock turnplate retains the stock steering ratio
