Cleaning the inside of your pipe?

put some gravel and simple green in there and slosh it around...it'll come out shiny new!

I had to pull my motor due to some broken motor mounts and when I pulled my pipe I noticed a ton a gunk has accumulated in the chamber and B body over the years. SO is cleaning your pipe a regular maintenance item I’ve been neglecting???? Does the gunk effect the performance? And any ideas on the best way to clean this thing up?

I did clean it out but I did a quicky job 'cause I wanted to get back on the water. I just scraped the inside of the chamber with a paint mixing stick. I scraped out about a quart size cup full of gunk. Ski runs about the same, I didn't do the best job. I need to pull it down again soon and will clean it correctly then. No after pics

after reading this i just pulled my pipe.. its the same inside and i have always run good quality synthetic oil (Yamalube or Ams oil)..

oven cleaner works well

Sand blast it out with a #10 sand. That will clean it right up.
