Check out my cracked wamiltons hood

I was jetting my carbs yesterday and did not see a thing.Went for ride and had some trouble with my hood latch popping off when doing nose stabs and when i came back and took the hood off it was all cracked and broken
Does wammer have as good a warranty as my 24-7 hood.
I know lenzi owned this ski but he only rode it 4 days and it was spotless when I got it and with all the trouble I had with my lamey cyl. I have only put 1 gallon of oil through this thing and still tuning. I don,t even do barrel rolls or back flips

GASKETS FOR CHAMP BRAP!
That looks like BS to me. Kind of looks thin in the pics... not good man.

My roundnose Wamiltons hood is reinforced on the inside, maybe because of that, dunno for sure, but it was done by Pat B.- Ikstej
Also mine is a different design that that one too, prolly older. Its heavy..

The hood is O.K the top is carbon fibre the liner is glass.I always thought the liner was a bit thin about .050" thick.Nothing hit it from inside so it must have something to do with the pressure when the hood is getting sucked down when I am reentering the water, because the hood latch comes off almost every time until I used a alum. shim

From what it looked like at Rock and Ride, Chuck over at CG Racing had layed up his own hood. Give him a hollar, make sure you tell him i sent you :haha:

the cg racing hood that i saw at lanier was a copy of a 24/7 that was as thin as a potato chip.

it was more the thin as a potato chip that i was getting at. the guy wont get very far with a hood thats built like an eggshell. i think itll be okay as long as you dont look at it too hard.

but, yeah.... the splashing of someone elses part, without even changing it up a little, is very cheezy.

Dang, that's the same hood I have. The liner in mine feels fairly thick in that area though.
Have you called them yet??

You two are like little girls:cheer: The hood you saw at lainer was an expirment to learn the process of vacuum infusion. This hood is NOT for sale and never will be. The reason it was so thin was to reduce the cost of the expirment. They are in no way being produced for resale. I have yet to have a dissapointed customer in any way. Neither one of you have ANY reason to bash anything I've done so i ask why? If I was Jr. Magoo, you both would have been banned for saying this. I'm out, internet riding sucks. I don't know how this is the only riding some do.

Both of you better do some homework before opening your mouth again. I have yet to have a dissapointed customer in any way. Neither one of you have ANY reason to bash anything I've done so i ask why?
