so, like i said before all of the useless BS earlier in this thread, check out www.watercraftfactory.com for a new hood. he can make it ultra light, extra solid, or anywhere in between. i had him make mine extra solid because of those awesome rolls and backys that i do in the surf all the time. :biggrin:

Word.. I have put a true test on The Pancake model hood.... I have chucked that boat from way up, and had it full Pancake... and not a crack ding or chip ! :notworthy: :hail: :Banane01: , that thing is solid as hell !

i kinda got side tracked building a garage
I spoke to wammer.He did not seem interested in a warranty on the hood.He thinks that because it was lenzis that it might be a light version of his hood which is understandable if this is the case but I don,t believe it is because I have a brand new wamiltons hood here and it seems as light .I am going to try to weigh them .I know my 24-7 hood is heavy but I have beat it for 3 yrs. and not a mark
Where is CG Racing ?

Old thread but just wanted to say that I weighed all 3 hoods and the 24-7 was the lightest much to my suprize and wamiltons lenzi hood was the heaviest.So there goes wammers theory that it was lightwieght for comp use
