I totally agree w/Darin on the politcal part of things. Don't get me wrong-they are ALL awesome and I am jealous as hell that I can't pull a single trick that they pull all the time. I mean NO dis-respect to Lenzi at all. I do however think that Lenzi could have gone bigger than he did as well as Watanabe! Watanabe thought he had it wrapped up and therefore did not do 6 in a row. Had he known it was a political contest, he would have surely tried to pull 6 in a row.

This is my opinion and nothing more

btw, you should know by now that freestyle judging is political/inconsistent/popularity contest and part of why I don't compete anymore.

I liked Rick Roy's attitude, that he was just there to perform/have fun (plus promote his products obviously). Smart guy.

all the jap riders showed up in uniform...all with a white boat red dot on the side, by the time they get to bun, it all looks the same....boring

the standings are fine leave them as they are

no reason to start internet bull:):):):)

Especially not when Racial slurs are the order of the day. FYI, That term is the equivalent of the "N" word to our Japanese friends. :biggrin:

Who is 'Bun'??? Do you mean Watanabe? Bun is the sponsor/company.

they do need a fixed point system for grading riders IMHO
add in so many style points, etc.
make it more objective

Lenzi won. I think Rick Roy should have done some more old school tricks, like the surf turn. The announcers (and I assume the crowd) loved his hood tricks after his routine.

I have seen Stoyers shows on Youtube and personally think they are more entertaining than his WF routine was.

I thought Malone was going to compete?

Is Brit racist? Is Aussie racist? Since when is an abbreviation "racial"? What if he said that the Brits all showed up in uniform with the Union Jack painted on their ski's? Same thing. :toothache:
