Broke Hoodlatch = Sunk Ski

for future reference ingesting water does not require a complete tear down of your motor...just get it running and ride it around for 20 min or so and your good..

Yeah I know but it was starting to get dark and I wouldn't have enough time to ride it long enough before the sun went down so this was the only way. Trust me I would of rather rode it for 30 mins then do a total tear down like I ended up having to.

Jonny, you're hell on that ski! Where did the strap break, at the mounting point? Now I know why you were wanting me to come riding with you, so I could tow you in :D

damn... I got those same straps from blowsion... do they suck? I haven't installed them yet....

Maybe I will change to one of the seatbelt/ratchet type straps mentioned above... I want to learn flatwater barrel rolls this year... I expect MANY attempts before completion.... blowsion sure advertises those straps as bulletproof...

The snap-on straps looked great until I saw them broken in your pics!!!!

I Have been running the Blowsion straps for two years without trouble. And I do lots of 3/4 landings.

That said, they are now busted.
