Bogus motor on Ebay

Adet16v bought this motor on ebay last week and it arrived at his house. Someone else has the motor listed for sale now. The guy told me he bought the motor last week and its the same motor. The seller also emailed adet claiming he was scammed by the original seller of the wet jet motor.

Its one thing to use a stock photo of an item. Its another to pull one from another auction that is not the item at all. I Appoligize if this is a big mix up but I doubt it.

Regardless of what's going on, they both accept Paypal. If you make payment with your credit card via Paypal, you're doubly-covered, whether it's a scam, or false-advertising.

I don't see a problem.

The seller of that motor sent me an email sayin he bought the motor from the original seller that adet bought his motor from and it hasn't arrived yet.

I messaged the guy on ebay, told him that he needed to remove the motor or I would report him to ebay because the motor was sitting in my bedroom...

he responded and said that the seller gave him a second chance offer, that he sent the seller $560 for the motor and he thinks he got scammed. BUT he never bid on the motor in the first place, therefore he would not even be elligible for a second chance offer.

in the end he removed the motor. beware of ramnay77 in the future on ebay.:biggthumpup:

thanks idok, going in my fx-1 to replace the motor that blew about a month ago... crank bearing let loose, took out the bottom case half, but i still got my ported cylinder.

adet i feel for u i had by wrist pin bearing go...that sucked haha i love the sound of my rod smashing the ******** outta my cases...i couldn't shut it down fast enough...prety sure i just fell apart on teh water haha
