blowsion handle pole pad

i got a blowsion handle pole pad for my stock superjet pole and it don't fit for $hit. the front lip is like 1/2 inch off the pole and its like a 1/4 inch to narrow.

what can i do to fix this problem???

im thinking that if i widen it some how it will bring the front lip down.

also did i just get one from a bad batch or did anybody else have this problem????

I got a Blowsion pole pad last year that fit like crap also. After a half hour of trying to make it work I called them. I sent it back and about a week later they sent me another one that fits great.

The one I got doesn't fit great... but I think it is just b/c of the stock pole. The mounting tabs are different thicknesses, so the pad sits a little diagonal.

Word of advice, once you get it on, make sure to use anti-seize on the bolts. The bolts are stainless and the block that is threaded on the pad is aluminum. Not the best combo. I had so much trouble with mine. I had to drill out both bolts. I then drilled out the threads of the aluminum blocks on the chin pad and switched to a nut and bolts system. Works great and have had no problems since.

Yeah sounds like a tad bit of poor quality control. I mean its just made to fit the stock configuration.
Why dont they test fit each one after it comes out of the mold to make sure its good to go?!?!?!
