Not being a fan of the tight pole set up, I ordered a pole spring from Blowsion (about a year ago) When I installed the thing it was sooo strong that even with the bars and chin pad on the pole would stay all the way in the “up” position. At first I was like WTF?? but not wanting to disassemble the whole thing again I just decided to ride it that way. It really didn’t take long and I actually started to like it. (I’m sure many of you will disagree). Any ways I recently ordered another one for my back up ski and its not near as strong as the original. So I’m wondering, did I just get a really strong spring the first time around or did Blowsion start making the springs with a little less strength on there last batch? Any body else get a catapult spring from Blowsion?

I put the catapult spring on my full RRP pole n steering set up with blowsion bracket and was like damn that just won't work, so I drilled the blowsion pole bracket's spring hole as far as I could more forward and It made it absolutely perfect. springs about half way up gently and will sit all the way up to open the hood

There seems to be variation when the springs are manufactured, I had one that wouldn't even lift the OEM pole and another that had extreme catapult action. I run the super tight one and just tighten my bolt down slightly and its perfect, stays exactly where I leave it but moves easily.
