It was when I was learning to do throws. I was doing them soooooo wrong and I wasnt wearing a helment and. To say the least my chin met the nose of the ski and 15 stiches later I learned to wear a helment

Is there any way to do that trick and actually ride out of it? It looks cool, but to the average spectator, it looks like a messed up trick. Whenever I show my friends these kinds of videos, they always ask why noone lands those tricks. Just curious.

it would be cool to do the trick but you let go of the ski later and dont hold on to the nose and land back in the tray backwards, or do malone's around the world, did he ever land that?

there is a way to ride out of it if you land far enough on the hood that you can just start riding backwards otherwise i think its too dangerous (ankle breakage) spin it alll around and come back in.
