Or just buy an 1100 off me for a conversion and have everything, power, reliabilty, pump gas, and linear powerband....if your a closed course racer, run stock and spend money on handling mods. if your a play rider, your going to spend all kinds of money and have what? Kinda like drag racing against yourself all the time, fun for awhile, but then you realize how much money you spent. To each his own, I've spent countless thousands modifying machines for the past twenty years, I've had my stock spec machines smoke full limiteds in runabout and ski classes. Sometimes people just need to learn to ride. If your building purpose specific machines it's a whole new story, hate to try to backflip with a stock 650 SN...haha! I will say on all my past standups that have had a pipe have gotten much better fuel economy than my stock models of the same machines. Good luck with whatever you choose!
