i still disagree, respectfully..of course
the fx1 is harder on my lower back in choppy water......I can feel every little imperfection in the surface
....I NEVER had that problem with my supertank..that thing would suck up the bumps and you'd never even feel them
now, if your speaking from the POV that lighter is always better for maneuvers, then I agree with you 100%
I guess you didn't understand my post???
you can add as much weight as you want... You could make the ski weigh 60lbs more than stock, like that POS you had from RF and still ride a 260lb ski on a lake day... how could that not be better??? You are not making sense.. 2 options and setups are better than one. This would give you unlimited setups... I could drop all the weight in the nose and go hit bouys, or put it all under the motor, some in the front and back... got what I'm saying now??
yes, that makes much more sense
and actually, jeff told me that the rev hull does ride a little "nose light" when running a 701 based motor....
he said since it was designed for a 66e with is approx 18-22 lbs heavier that putting a 5-10 lb weight in the nose of the ski might make it handle better IN THE SURF
but now I get what youre saying.....
I didnt realize people actually rode in lakes and stuff :skull2::cool2::biggrin:
Hey now!I didnt realize people actually rode in lakes and stuff :skull2::cool2::biggrin:
Hey now!
Like everything in life skis, cars, women, ECT it is not how much it weighs but where the weight is placed.
We should let James Stewart Know that for some tracks he needs to add some weight to his bike..... you know depending on the whoop section and all
But seriously.... I want a 200-220lb boat for everything!
I bet if Ross had a 200lb ski he could do a double BF no problem
I also think why anyone would ever purchase a waterdog product after all the drama from that guy.:banghead:
the TKO is pretty much a copy of the wammer hull.......
No BK the TKO top deck is a copy of a Yamaha SuperJet and so is the bottom too but with little changes.
TKO is made in Brazil. TKO has a new hull is called "Flex". It a great hull weighting about 80-85 pounds. We have more coming in the states but they are gone faster than we can advertise for TKO. I don't even have one for myself.:bs2:
There pretty cool. They are called "Flex" because Flexibility you have with the removable hull extensions. Either you can have a normal hull length or -3 for flipping. I'm getting great feeback on all of the TKO stuff.
:woot:
Thanks Kevin!

That is why I think the 66e is overrated.
Oh and dont forget to add in the weight of a Mag pump when you go that route..... 66e is not the setup for surf. IMO
