Here's my list in order of money not being an issue:

Lightweight.de
XFT
Watercraft Factory

TKO - never seen one personally so no idea.

Waterdawg doesn't make a hull I like, I've never liked the looks of the X-Jet and the REV has way too many lines in it and no handholds, then add in the issues with the 'company' lieing to customers and what-not, so personally I wouldn't buy from them.

i would go and did go the watercraftfactory . good weight to strenght ratio and also nice look . pricing is comparable with others . they do have drains as well if it is a short hull the are inside . mine will be on the back . he is also letting me do alot of custom stuff to it as well . plus the battery can be placed in the center allowing for one of the new eme pipe configurations. i find it amazing people still contimplate waterdawg after all others have gone through.just a thought .

Sweet didn't know they had drains I really like the watercraftfactory hull.

I also think why anyone would ever purchase a waterdog product after all the drama from that guy.:banghead:

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
I chose the WDK REV for a few reasons (this buy no means is saying its the best for all) IMO IMO IMO.
1.) style (its the only one that is not an 80% SJ knock off looks wise)
2.) choice of bottom deck design
3.) what appears to be an awesome pole bracket design (included w/ purchase)
4.) Flexability, if I decide next year to run a GP800 platform it is ready to bolt up.
5.) PRICE, Jeff will work best with you on your budjet then anyone I have called.

I have not ridden this boat yet so I cannot speak of the handling. I can say the quality SO FAR is as expected.
As for the lead time, well I am waiting on a few parts but I had the hull, bracket, hood and holds in less than 6 weeks.I am sure this will strongly depend on what you order but I also believe the promise date of others
are right @ 10 weeks or more.
SO FAR, as far as the HULL goes I am a satisfied customer of WDK. Jeff is a great guy to work with and have as a friend.

a list of hulls I have seen or heard about. Maybe people can add to this...

Europe

Compositech - France - $10k
carbon sj copy w/ tons of modifications and very very high quality. rivals the quality of Lightweight. Some think it's better. around 70lbs

Lightweitght DE - Germany $12-15K
carbon/kevlar/honeycomb sj copy w/ tons of modifications and considered to be the premier hull made today. around 70lbs

South America

XFT - Brazil ?$
Flat water Freestyle version 26Kgs. 57,32 pounds.
Material: Resin epoxy, Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Divinycell and Unidirectional Cloth fiberglass.
Finish: Carbon Fiber clear look or Carbon Fiber/Kevlar clear look

Florida

Wamiltons - SE. Florida $4,395.95
WAMILTONS CUSTOMS FEEESTYLE HULL....Include with the HULL: > Dual scupper valve system built in to the hull > Dual cooling lines > Trim system line > Light weight hull reinforced with carbon Kevlar 15 pounds lighter than stock > Pump shoe > Rear exhaust > Steering cable adaptor > Foot holds

Trinity Composites - SE. Florida
no info yet, but will compare w/ Lightweight and Compositech.. just wait and see..

Leg Drag - SE. Florida
TKO is made in Brazil. TKO has a new hull is called "Flex". It a great hull weighting about 80-85 pounds. We have more coming in the states but they are gone faster than we can advertise for TKO. I don't even have one for myself.

There pretty cool. They are called "Flex" because Flexibility you have with the removable hull extensions. Either you can have a normal hull length or -3 for flipping. I'm getting great feeback on all of the TKO stuff.

Watercraft Factory - SE. Florida $4295.00
Designed and constructed with an emphasis on added strength and reduced weight the new Watercraft Factory lightweight freestyle hull offers superior strength and sleek curves. featuring: all aluminum fittings, dual scupper system installed, footholds, ride shoe

N. East

24/7 Innovations - New Jersey $10k
carbon sj

N. West

Waterdawg Kustoms - Oregon $3,500 - $10k
SuperJet, X-Jet, REV, FX-1 Pro. can be made to your standards... wet-prepreg carbon... whatever...

for surf...a 60-80lb hull is WAY too light....I think it'd beat the hell out of you if there was ANY sort of chop to the water--but on a glassy day or on flat, it'd be insane!

personally, I ordered a R.E.V. a couple of weeks ago and am totally amped for when it gets here--For what I paid I am VERY exited and know the hull will take a pounding

I rode butti's new hull for the first time in surf last night and was very impressed......although I just cannot handle fixed bars

Yamasluts post is pretty much all of the facts. Except Lightweight isn't prepeg its wet layup. For the price you probobally can't beat Watercraft Factory. Lightwieght.de is hands down the best hull on the market available, but expensive.

they upgraded it from what I was told... Are you sure it's available in pre-preg now..??

Talked to Norbert for a couple hours in Portugal in April, he told me he doesn't use prepeg for jet skis because it takes too much resin away for how they are used.

no such thing as too light... only too heavy.

I want a hull that is 70lbs max so I can put weight where I want to and balance the ski to my weight and riding style... I will add all the weight to the bottom of the hull, which will increase stability and make the CG lower. My theory is that the lower I get the CG the better carving and quicker I can turn w/ out the added weight up high causing the ski to sway or be more difficult to handle... All really high performance vehicles stive for lower CG's for handling... I see no reason why a boat won't beefit as well.

In 20-30 min of work I could drop 30lbs off my boat if I wanted to hit the lake for a day... Then when I'm done, just add the weight back for surf applications...

idok, repeat after me:
"NO SUCH THING AS TOO LIGHT!!!!!!!!"
only bad setups

i still disagree, respectfully..of course

the fx1 is harder on my lower back in choppy water......I can feel every little imperfection in the surface

....I NEVER had that problem with my supertank..that thing would suck up the bumps and you'd never even feel them

now, if your speaking from the POV that lighter is always better for maneuvers, then I agree with you 100%

Dan...when I called to order my boat from Jeff, he alread had a R.E.V. 95% completed......I had been talkikng to him a little here and there since daytona, but called to order about 3 weeks ago

I talked to him last night and he told me it was in the crate getting ready to go out.....

I ordered:

wet layup R.E.V
-5" pole
all bracketry
gas tank
pump shoe
bars and turnplate
