that last 1/3 is achievable with hp for sure. thats why it will be so cool to see marsh roll a stock ski. that will all be technique which is what a flatwater roll is all about.
For sure, but it's possible. The point is to just go for it, but with the safety of footholds. Anyone who's rolling a ski in any kind of water show is most likely rolling a stocker - ask Jeremy Parr what he's riding in Orlando - I doubt they even give him footholds. On a 650? I don't know, but if you put a great rider on one then I'm sure it can be/has been done.
Totally agree skill is the key. But not everyone has the "nac" to do things in sports. Parr, Malone, Stoyer, Ratti, etc. are pros at this sport. Just like Roger Clemens in baseball. You can't go out and throw a ball everyday and all of a sudden throw 95 mph one day. Its one of those things where practice makes perfect but you also kind of have to have be a natural too. All of us aren't going to be able to go out and pratice and one day be rolling 650s. That is why we need power to aid in our lack of skill.
jetskee does really well on a stock SJ with footholds, impeller, shortened stock pole and maybe a couple other things, but nothing on the engine yet.

no, you need more power. that thing you ride doesn't have stock power. :splatt:some guys in my group are saying they its too hard and we need more power.
