Back flip skis are so frustrating most times.

So with my old pump I could flip my ski. Mind you the pump shoe was literally falling out and sucking air off idle bad.

Now my new 155 with 11/15 ish prop new trim also and I cut my plate flush with the hull. I land on my head every time. It Jumps out of the water and feels like it has more thrust which it should!

Couple things might be going on here.

Prop to steep can't turn it fast enough down low.

Thrust pro trim has less tilt than my thrust original. Maybe it's just not tilting enough?

Cutting my plate flush might not have enough surface area on the bottom and it's just blowing through the wave.

Normal riding around I didn't notice any change with the ride plate.

Any pro tips?

When I upgraded to a 148 from a 144 10/16, was told to go to a 9/15 impeller my ski when from rear wheel drive
To 4 wheel drive hook up
What was the old pump size + pitch?

Ah you are at high elevation, i dont know to much about riding higher elevated.
What exit nozzle bore are you at? a
What compression are you running?
Maybe a 9/15ish fits your elevation better, if the 10/16 148 made your setup run nice. You could try and bend you 11/15 down to 9/15 for starters

Ordered a 7/15 we will see how that goes. Maybe send my 10/16 (found out what it was) repitch to something lower

Wait a minute, they don't make a TBM stuffer for a 155. So did you modify it?
