i know picknose owns sbt and the pwct and i know bryans his do boy. that is irrelevant and we need not type so big. what you and i dont know is if greg knows about bryans recent shenanigans on the site. i think he should know if he doesnt already. that could be enough to get bryan canned if all of this isnt want pickass wants

I worked for a guy who had a yes man like that, Bryan would have to go 5150 before any action would be taken by Pickren. I know, I read their emails after I left, nothing good on the servers. :sneaky:

I have been reading a lot this lately but haven't really chimed in. I think what SBTNazi did over there was ridiculous and he looks like a fool for it. But in the large scheme of things, I doubt his superiors would think much of it. These forums are certainly a great place for a lot of us to gather, share ideas, shoot the poop, etc. But in the grand scheme of things, in their minds, its just a web site with a bunch of bickering riders.

I am not sure of the statistics of how many of all PWC owners in the country are on PWCToday but I am sure its small. And the # that went into the Polaris Technical forum, far, far, far, far less.

He mad an ass of himself and his company and we all see that. But this will be over next week and his bosses, if they were to even know, probably wouldn't be too concerned about it. I am sure the money is still rolling in at SBT.

I think the 'sit to ski, sit to pee' attitude is keeping a lot of newbies from staying here...:frown:

I originally went to PWCToday looking for knowledge when I had two couches, found the knowledge, so hence I stayed. The X has the knowledge to be what PWCToday once was, but the holier than tho attitudes need to go.

why would we want this place to become what pwct once was with a bunch of retarded noob couch questions. this site is already BETTER than pwct ever was and will ever be........ unless ur a coucher, that is.

I started out on a couch, thats how I was able to find out about standups. Couches have their place too, just no where near the fun factor or riding skills needed like the standups have!!!!!

I own a couch too......has not hit the water this season.......neither has any of my standups....or me for that matter (hoping that will change in the next two weeks).....I won't ride the couch that much...but it is for others in the family cause let's face it, not everyone wants to ride a standup........

well, then you must not be who im referring to. i thought i was being pretty specific.

nothing personal, its just that its nice to come here and not have flip through hundreds of useless couch-related posts to find something interesting and applicable to my interests.

not to start a couch/standup war, but they are 2 different animals with 2 different purposes.

there are places for couchers to discuss couches. i just hope that this place doesnt become one of them.

very few, if any people here give a rats ass about polaris, honda or seadoo or even kawi or yami couch issues. thats just another thing that makes this site great for standup riders. we all generally have a common interest and its not couches. :sorry:

I support Couchers Rights, never been on one but still supprort them. Someone has to convert riders to stand-ups.

MIchael is absolutely correct. If we are to grow, there has to be a place here for the sit-downs. We as a group have to refrain from the bashing. we need to open up & show them the light. with respect!!!!!

Charlie, as you know, I'm as pro stand-up as anyone here. I basicly live for this sport. With that said, now is the time to open up a section for the sit-downs. We have the golden oppertunity to show a lot of new peeps a way to grow the sport. The flood gates opened over at PWCT today & we showed record numbers for it. We now have a chance to move foward. I say show those sit-downs some love & allow them a place. Are you with me Charlie??
We will always be the freeride place to be, we will never move away from our course. But we will allow all to see what we are about.

I knew you would disagree & I'm fine with that. no disrespect taken. I agree you are one of our more colorful members. In the correct context, you can probably sway more people to try stand-ups than most here.
That would be a great way to use your god given gift. But of course, that is your choice. I don't expect everyone leaving pwct to instantly join here. But the true riders will. Those are the ones we want. I don't want this site to ever be what pwct is. It is unique & thats the way it was created. but we can always expand of that.
Look at the nature of the guys banned today, they stood up for themselves & didn't take crap. If thats not a dominant stand-up rider in the making, I don't know what is.
