They are hollow aren't they? Not sure how much extra "meat" they have to get away with. Be pretty easy to pop off and have a look.

That's what we did before Wet Wolf started making them (and then everyone else) on the SJ cones. Fill the inside with J-B Weld, let that set up, then do whatever you want to the outside. It works pretty well.

my next question is i know you get more low end, do you lose a lot of top end ? and i`m guessing it will run at a higher rpm right ? so i would have to watch my wot now. right now i wot all day long
i like that it will keep up with sit downs but thats not what i relly want or need.

it will be two and three eights long total so it 1 1/2 shorter and 3/8 thiner at thickest point with a faster taper.

its still 1/4 thick . you can take 3/8 off over all diamitor ???? very easy with lathe. i cut inch out of the center and welding it back together.

not sure what you want to hear.
i took the stock cone first cut 1/2 inch off end the 1/4 off the whole thing. then i was told to do more so i cut it in two peaces took 1 inch out of the middle and tonight i will weld it back to gether.
if you cant weld you can take a good 3/8 off diamitor ??? cant spell and 1/4 off the tip. you can also turn the tapered part to, i took about 3/16 off that

give me something in my hand im good but if i have to say it of write it start guessing
