Anyone ever run a MSD TL Flywheel on a 2004 or newer SXR. I am guessing you can run with no stator at all. I am just wondering how it would run with flywheel THAT light...

Won't work, diifferent type of sensor. SXR sensor has magnet in it which is triggered by high tab on flywheel passing it, MSD flywheel has magnet in it which triggers the MSD sensor. SXR CDI won't read signal from MSD sensor

Okay, what if I get the plate, flywheel AND trigger pickup. Will it run without a TL brain?....I'm talking 04-12 or newer electronics, not 96-03 electronics.

I don't think it will work. The Kawasaki CDI can only read a signal from a stock pick up trigger.
PM waterhawk he's the only 1 I've ever read to get a TL to work with no brain.

Won't work, signal is different, MSD is open/closed circuit, kawi is a resistance fluctuation. I tried it last year. I have a CDI- 9R for sale if you want a choice of curves in a cdi
