i might have ditched work to ride with you guys if i got my ski reinforced last week. hopefully i can get it done this week, a bunch of parts should be here any minute now

Just remember....a reinforced ski might help keep your ski from cracking but it won't help keep you from drowning!
30ft is INSANE!!!

Hey Five O, I was just checking the swell model on Magic Sea weed and central CA is going to get the full brunt of this swell. Pismo should be HUGH! We’re a little more sheltered down here in San Diego due to the angle of the swell but there still forecasting 10-12’ by tomorrow. Best part for us is that Surfline is saying the conditions are going to be epic— Big with good shape and NO WIND! I’m so stoked just to ride 10-12’-I love big waves! It should be unreal up there for you guys. I would love to get a chance to ride 25-30’ Take pics if you can, I’m working on a helmet cam right now

All my usuall cams in Washington must be knocked out from the storm, most towns don't have power.

I took these pictures at about 3pm today so the wind was on it already. When we rode this morning around 7am it was a lot smoother and a little bigger. The first pic is the North Jetty during a set. The last 3 pics are waves in the harbor entrance and the outer Jetty. If your familiar with Oceanside, on a normal 3-5’ day the harbor entrance and outer jetty are completely flat. To gage the size, the jetties are about 15’ tall
