I'm usually pretty beat down come Monday morning for work after riding all weekend. Plus all the drinking over the weekend too, hate Monday mornings with a passion! The worst is the first good long ride of the year don't ride too much when it's cold. Walking like I have 2x4's for legs for a good week

Your body adjusts like any work out routine. I get in anywhere from 1-3 rides a week from March to November. I also work 60 hours a week as a mechanic.. Sometimes I wonder how I even do it?

hell yeah! getting old sucks...beers and barrell rolls all day always cripples me the next day . It's like being in a few car wrecks
on top of the fact that the lake we ride in seem to screw up my sinuses pretty badly, so you also can add that to the mix.

but in the end it's all worth it! :)

we're in the salt! twice the work when ya get out cleaning everything up, but twice as many boat wakes to jump...

I blister over blisters, but if I can ride every weekend its gets better and since I dont hit up the gym I can tell a major difference in how I look and feel. Didnt ride for two weeks, rode on sunday and Im feeling it pretty good right now. Also work as an auto mechanic, which sucks on monday feeling all sore and having to work.

Oh yeah I've heard of that, I just didn't make the connection. If numbness is the symptom then I probably have it. I have to go to shore and swing my whole arm in a circular motion to get the blood to my hand before the numbness goes away

From what I've read If only 3 fingers or so go numb its possible cts. Otherwise you could be just gripping to tight. I've read some riding gloves will help but have yet to try some.

I'm 29 and it started 2 years ago for me. I put 5 tanks of gas through the ski every weekend, the first two or three weekends of hard riding i feel like I just went 12 rounds. I think its both the riding and being in the sun after a long winter. But after that im fine, you just have to build those mussels up again.
