anyone else have a project for daytona that won't be done in time?

im not sure im going to be able to unveil the new sflsportsaver x-2 bimini top with matching sunbrella seat and chinpad, with matching hand grips, in daytona.

it probably doesnt matter anyway. nobody will ever know it existed because the fruits that run this site remove my ingenious new products as soon as i list them.:pancake:

I'm gonna be really really close.
Been having trouble with a certain user here who doesn't send out parts in a timely fashion (I'll leave it at that for the time being).
And a graphics shop that is obviously wayyy too busy in this great economy to get me the design proofs that I've been begging for for the last 9 weeks.
Plus, I've got a bunch of little odds and ends that I can't finish until I get the ski in my hands (which it's not right now), such as footstraps to install, etc etc........
Add to it that I've got a TON of other stuff going on right now, and next week, brings me to the conclusion that it's 50/50 right now that I get it done in time. At best.
And I've learned that it isn't worth rushing a project just to get it done. Then the whole weekend of riding ends up being a shake down, and that's not any fun, especially if it's soo cold you can't even feel your fingers trying to fix things, adjust carbs, etc etc.

However, if it's 40 degrees next weekend, I ain't goin' in anyways. Not worth getting sick for two weeks to me. I'll freeze on the beach for one day then probably just head back home.

I'm 50/50 at best as of this morning.

hit the start today on my ski and the most horrific sound came from the starter...

out came the headpipe, chamber and old starter... having a problem getting the newer starter in though (trying to do this all in the ski).

going to pull the exhaust manifold off real quick so i can actually see what i am doing.

stupid 'skis.... ha

Same here. I'm taking my ski as is at this point, still had lots of little things to do, but F it, I'm ready to ride.

several of us died of tuberculosis.
