Anybody use this intake grate??????? V. Bad silicone job

It's a Solas.... I got it in a trade for a 650sx total loss system. If you have run one before, how did you like it? Obviously it's not as good as an all out toploader, but did you at least think it was ok?

Looks good to me. Similar to a skat a run on my surf sxr.
If you think it hooks up or "brakes" too much when you left off throttle.
Try cutting off the rear outer wings off the grate.

dauum,, that plate is never going to let the back end free, looks killer for racing

I also have a plain jane extended pro-tec to test out and possibly use as a d-cut plate if I want to switch it up. From what I've been told, you can still break the backend loose with that Ocean pro in the pics with relative ease. :bananapowerslide:

i had a very simuaer OP plate on my 550.. i fricken loved it. its amazing how a plate can make all the difference. i think you will like it.

is it going on the primer ski?

i got one for 20 dollars they have been selling for around 20 bucks on ebay for the last year someone has box's of them, they are always on sale on ebay, brand new
