...in the surf? Going BIG.... in medium to big surf? NOT GO-PRO PLEASE!

I am thinking of getting a second hull...

Lets see some riding of 65lb hulls with mild motors in 4 to 6 footers!

Dude you have lived me rocking my tiny hull in surf on several occasions already. I want to try a BOB in surf, actually just plain ride one haha

There is a vid with the KDX in the surf at Daytona I believe. Looked like it rocked. Also the green Q8 in the Moto Option Daytona vid. Not sure if those are what you consider "tiny".

I have seen Taylor do that in person. But I don't think a Rickter is a 65lb tiny hull.....is it? I thought it was basically a SJ bottom and weighed around 90lbs (hull only)...correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes I have seen you Zack but I mean some good long vid of some slashing AND tricks in nice waves.

When I bought my Envy it was said that a 95lb hull was great for surf and that is all I had to go on. And that is probably right for ocean surf...but I am wondering what people think of a 65lb hull for all surf....hell...even the rapids....

My Envy is 95lb hull, 14lb hood, 10lb pole......

I'm just thinkering...

Oh and to clarify I am talking super light tiny hull with OUT big money motor.....

That TC vid is a 1100 DASA in a "normal" ski... and probably a 148 mag pump or bigger....

oops...read the youtube info....

"Port Phillip Bay is generally known for its sheltered waters. A 45 knot gale changes things a bit and we get some surf like conditions at Frankston Pier. Monster Freestyle Jetski Rider Nick Barton from Krash Industries takes full advantage of the stormy weather. He is Riding a JB1 hull designed and built by himself powered by a 1200cc motor producing 220hp, this thing is mental, check out Krash Industries for more info on the skis, they are all custom made so hit them up if you take this stuff seriously."

Anyone know what the lightest a "big" hull can weigh in at? Like a full carbon WDK Envy?

I really just want my hull...I LOVE it..and I love full size gas tanks! But I can't help but wonder what it would be like if it was 30lbs. lighter?

And NO! I can't lose any more weight...I would be a frigging anorexic twig if I could even get to 160lbs!

I am 160 lbs though, do I look anorexic ??? Losing that indestructble tow rope & massive carabiners would drop some weight, & we can try to make a cf 2 pound hood for ya.

Could possibly just get a bit more power rather than changing a hull that you already love and rip.

How tall are you? You only weigh 165!?

If I could make a carbon Envy hood it would still only be -12lbs or so....

I don't ride with the tow rope! LOL...

I just emailed Jeff and asked what the rock bottom weight of a carbon Envy would be? Just curious....
