I am thinking about getting a primer for my sj. I have the plunger style in my old 550 and that died after about 2 years. I would like something that will last a little longer than that.
Its great if you only use the primer for cold starts.
What else would you use it for?
I have one of the JSS low profile primers, it's worked for 2 years now.
I knew that was going to get asked :biggrin:What else would you use it for?
Mine ripped after a couple months.
have one on my sxr, does the job, I like the low
but, if your carbs are tuned you should not have to use a primer to crank it....
humm..
so turned carbs defy gravity and newton's law?
i dont know about others, but my ski sits for the week, or hell a few hours, teh gas in the lines drain back into the tank... oh and i dont have a external fule pump...
anyhow, i would buy teh JSS primer anyday over the others,, it only take 1-3pumps max to get a good amount of gas into the body, and you can not beat the low profile.
