That is totally awesome man!! Makes a round nose look like that liquid terminator. Very cool.

Interested in how it holds up to abuse... as far as chipping off etc? pricing? Application process, if it's something anyone can apply? and again, like already mentioned, weight if applied to an entire superjet?

It's not his product to name, it's already named X-Metal.

A proprietary metal developed by LuminOre Inc. LuminOre® X-Metal resembles smoked chrome, and is the only metal in the LuminOre product line that does not take a patina. This also means that there is no need to clear coat LuminOre X-Metal, and X-Metal never tarnishes.

Very cool.

Word of warning- If you are heading in the PWC word with this technology you might want to market under a different name. There might be some confusion.

I'd be worried about blinding yourself while trying to ride, seriously.... Sun reflection would almost be constant with the whole top deck done.

Looks phat for a show ski IMO. But I wouldn't go all out on my everyday rider, maybe an few accents here and there like JetSkiKing stated.

Good luck with it, let us know more details as you go along. :fingersx:

Those pics really don't do it justice. You have to seet this in person to appreciate it. I have only see the hood, but that looks unreal.

And as far as the concerns regarding how it will hold up to flexing/stress, I can promise you this will be very well tested. Ryan "Runaway" Johnson will be riding this boat, and he will flat destroy a hull in about 2 months. So this will see as much abuse as can be thrown at it.

how well would it hold up to oil, gas and chemicals?

It'd be way pimp to coat the engine bay with it

also the bottom of the hull to protect from gouging due to beaching.

It's a thin coating, so don't look to it for hull protection. Remeber it's only as strong as what it's applied to, & if you beach on a rock it'll gouge out the underlying material, taking the thin coating with it.
