Impros is having there annual ride next month on June 12-13th in Blythe on the Colorado River. They usually serve a free dinner for every one on Saturday night. Its mostly a race scene but theres plenty of rec riding on the river. Last years was pretty fun. I'll see you guys there!

Like I said its mostly a race scene. Ton of SXR's, few SJ's and an assortment of every thing else, including a few couchs. If your not completely happy with your set up and you want to take the time, Impros will even repitch your impeller on the spot

Maybe I should fly out and ask where my impeller I ordered & paid for 2+ weeks ago is, and why they are not returning any of my emails or calls this week.

Hey 227, you gonna be in Havasu next weekend?

No, unfortunately I can't make that one. I 'm sure our paths will cross at the Impros party though. It's always good to meet fellow X members. BTW you, and anyone else who's interested all have a standing invitation to come ride the surf with us here in Oceanside if you ever make it down this way.

I'm always riding in Blythe, right by the 10 freeway, but never heard of the Twin Palms resort. I looked on the map but it showed the resort way off the river(not close to the river at all; as in walking distance). From my place the dam is up river about 7-10 miles, but I can ride down river for days. So are you guys riding above the dam, or below?? I would appreciate any info. Thank you!

Twin Palms Resort is located waterfront on the river, above the Dam at Blythe. Read this thread from PWCtoday. It gives directions, dates and general information about the event.

Missy may come if she is feeling better and gets her class work done in time

surprised there wasn't a big announcement for this on this site

so whom else is going from the X...

now the good details.....
anyone up for some lobsters or crabs???? just need to know what to bring, and who has a grill or stove for em
I know Phil will be

we will (if we can make it) probably just go Saturday morning and return the evening, so John if you need a place to sleep you can stay here too

Don I'll only be there for Saturday also. BTW the Lobster sounds good but not necessary, Impros will be catering a Mexican dinner for FREE for everyone who shows up on Saturday night. Show up, ski your brains out, Impros feeds us for FREE! Not a bad gig!

i figured we could add to it, besides i'm a VERY picky eater
only problem with the lobster is need to cook the fokkers in a large pot (we have the pots, need to be able to cook em)
the crabs we can toss in a tin and steam up (cooks much faster) plus they come from alaska flash frozen
Let me see how the week plays out and if we get our stuff done here (skis, trailers, cars, etc)

Phil has been working like a mad-man in this 100+ degree temps to get his done

Thanks a million to Phil for helping me out yesterday
he did an AWESOME job welding the spindles on the trailer for us

just a few more things to get done, and we should be good to go
