Don't forget your flywheel bolt. I don't know why people use anything besides Anti-sieze. When it comes to automotive and diesel, everything gets lubed and pretty much only flywheels and balancers get Loctite. I don't believe skis should be any different.
I dont care what guys use so long as something is in the threads to keep corrsion out, lube the threads and if it helps ensure that it doesnt come loose well to me thats just a bonus.
loctite has many different lockers and sealants. I use it because its installed factory. when you take a super crusty ski apart and have no broken bolts it is because the factory sealant did its job. if you look at a the exploded view in a factory repair manual it has a lube or grease at the washer and thread sealant or locker on the threads.
whatever works- works! grease, dog

, skeet-skeet, whatever...so long as it doing something to protect the threads.
why does there need to be more drama?
oh ok, yes lucas red and tacky is #1 loctite is ok if you are out of that. are we good now? can we get back to bashin on vumad for not puttin whale spooge on his threads?
