Im not sure if that is directed towards me for what I said, but please dont tell me over the internet that I have disrespcted all the fallen americans of 9-11! Keep in mind that early in the thread you guys were talkin about which fighter jet was a twin or single engine and you also had a smiley with soldiers bringing up the american flag, I understand that is a patriotic symbol but the original picture does have to do with war and that is basically gives other messages.

9-11 is much more than a day we were attacked by terrorists, its a day america changed forever and it was the start of trhe war on terror and preventing anything like it from happening again. Politics does come into play and If some people werent so closed minded they can read what I posted and think about it without making any other comments.

I understand the purpose of this thread and maybe is should have been started then locked, but im sorry this is an internet site im already silent and I thought about all that were lost all day.

I posted that as a board member, not Admin...........

I made the post to show my respect towards the fallen Americans........... to bring politics into play was disrespectful............ It does not matter if they were Republican, Democrat, Independant etc.......... They Died.......... You can bring politics into every action by every American if you look hard........ That was not the point of this post............. So, I took offense, as did one or two others...........

Sorry, after hearing about f-16's etc, I thought it was an open thread and I expressed what happened that day and a song that I thought voices how I feel and the song is not swayed one way or the other, well we know toby keith is rep but I thought it was a good song to share.

Anyways the internet sucks for this kind of talk, no one knows what the other people mean because you arent there face to face, you dont know their story and cant easily ask it, I dont want to be rude to anyone or have people think bad of me on this site cause frankly I know about 4 of you only.

9/11 was all about politics, regardless of your or anyone elses political viewpoint. i see what your saying harrison.... you started the thread as a 'memorial' to those that died.... but they died due to political BS. its all related. if anyone is guilty of disrespect, id say it was someone from the middle east.

No... It is about insanity, terrorists could careless about anyone, or anything... Think about, my sister,and my cousin watching ring side, of people jumping out, and some of them were colueges & friends, you would have a little different out look, when you walk home from work in ash you could just about swim in. To this day, I still cannot talk about this with her. She and other family and friends... You just dont mention... So when you post that it is about politics... that is just a dumb statement to make... Seriously...

I think the term "politics" in this thread is being used in a United States bipartisan kind of a way. And frankly, there is NO reason to turn this into a left vs. right, blue vs. red, dem vs. rep kind of a thread....PERIOD. 9/11 was an American tragedy. Those who lost their lives came from a broad range of political, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. Lets not insult the dead by turning this into a pro-"your agenda here" rally.

I actually go to Northern Michigan University in Marquette MI. Sorry I may get worked up about this event and I believe both sides have good arguments that surround this issue and ones alike but this song pretty much says it all and im glad there are other people that feel the way I do, Toby Keith said....American girls and American guys

Northern was my second guess.... Especially since you were from Marquette.

Also, I think that some of you were referring to my earlier post saying it was disrespectful and whatnot. I want to note that I didnt mean disrespect in any way. My family lost a friend in the attacks so I was affected closely by this. I didnt mean to sound disrespectful. Carry on!
