701 crank for WB1 - 61x & 760 Cyl

I am building a 61x with a 760 cyl, and am looking to trade in my old crank, and get a trued and welded one.

I want one that has new bearings as well, since I am going through all the bother at this point..

Is it acceptable to go with the SBT crank deal for $275?

I think Group K wanted around $400 total, for a crank w/ new bearings as well as trued and welded.

Would like to keep it around $300-$350 if I can.

Any views on the best route for a replacement crank?

spend $75 more and buy a brand new hot rods crank.

yeah, SBT's are fine for rec skis, but if your going for power, then go with OEM or Hotrods

Hot rod's crank is $495 + shipping, just a bit more than I was hoping to spend.

Broke down and bought a Hotrods crank.

Figured why not, might as well spend the little bit extra.

Good choice, some of the trash I've seen from SBT makes me sick as a jetski mechanic. The Hotrods cranks will last you a very long time.
