4lb wall-mart battery?

I have been using 4lb $20 dollar batterys (advance autoparts) for a few years. I never have to charge it either. Just need to get a new one every year usually.

I personally would not buy any Battery from Walmart. Every battery I have ever seen from them is crap.

I always get slammed for saying this but I have used walmart batterys for years. I just get the smallest battery they have for the cheapest money and you can pad the sides with hydroturf and a tool kit to keep it snug in there. I have refered tons of people to walmart over the local Yamaha shop that sells batteries for $88. And I have never had anyone complain. They wil last 2 years easily or more if you put it on a charger over the winter. But I still replace it every other year.

here's an idea....keep your good batt, pick up a lightweight cheapie....keep the OD/Deka in the truck is you know it will hold a charge...

then try it out!

are you talking about neverstart batteries here or is walmart selling some other brand where you are at? I know I have had customer with brand new neverstarts that would not crank their skis,I personally dont reccomend them to anyone as I have quie a stack of them here for :banghead: cores

Jetworks in both my boats and love them .I really can't understand why anyone would want the cheapest battery .
I have a Walmart one here that came with my Blaster and it is a piece of shiat

Neither can I, the Deka in my SJ is over 6 years old, and this year it had a lot of hard starting when the starter brushes got to the nubs and caused it to draw a lot of amperage.
