2009 superjet or 2009 kawi 800 sxr ????

hey guys in the process of buying a new stand up cant decide whether to buy the 09 superjet or the kawi 800 sxr anyone have advice ? which one should i get ???

id say a hydrospace. best bang for the buck and awesome at freestyle.

ya im leaning towards the sj as well but ppl are telling me the 800 is a great ski but there heavier ? although they are cheaper then the sj

there was an 07 for 4500/ sxr here locally.

both of the 09's are built for racing so what difference does it make?

The sj's are way lighter and more nimble than the sxr. When I go from my new sj to an sxr it feels like a tank. The sxr just isn't near as much fun as an sj. It all depends on what you want to do with it too.

well i have an 87 650sx that i sold and iv been riding that for about a yr now and i rode an sj and loved it now i have the money to finance one i want to eventually freeride

well the sxr has more power and u can spin it easier than a sj, but a sj is more of a all-around ski also good for freestyle

Both are great ski's. Really boils down to what you want to do with it.

SXR Great for ripping up the lake, running bouys. Not a great freestyle ski.

09 SJ. Same features as the SXR but lighter. Power to weight is similar. Better for freestyle but the hull is not one that will break loose for slides.

96-07 SJ Better for freeride/freestyle, lighter, nimble, just a much better play ski. Plenty of parts available, does not take much to bump up the power.

How does the 09' Sj handle heavy chop racing compared to SXR's?

I havent tried a new one yet but it seems like the heavier and slightly larger SXR would get through it better/faster

Why buy a new one and finance it? You can get an SJ for $1000. Unless your really set on a new one?
