I'm bringing mine as well. I have 3 2gb sd cards as well. so I'm hoping to get some decent video.

My buddy Drew is coming with his video camera and will be shooting some footage form shore as well.

I just need to go rivet the mount on my new helmet, and find some new orings.

Thats how I did my other helmet, take the strap mount and drill 4 1/8" holes near the corners in the slots. (if I remember correctly) Don't trust that strap, my buddy lost his and a 2 gig card a year ago. I'll post a picture in a while.

Looks like I won't be bringing mine, the mount won't sit flat on my Bellistic, and I'm not bringing my heavy helmet.

ahh that sucks. I drilled two holes in my Bellistic last night, and used the bracket i bought from #.0 - worked great!

oh, and here are a couple of pics sent from Xeon and E_roc_wilbs from daytona..

he hasn't sent any yet. He did say that on Monday there was some really nice over head surf further out. And that E_roc_wilbs smashed a nice hole in the side of his pink ski over rotating a BR.

He called me last night asking for me to bring some fiberglass cloth and stuff... and that the surf yesterday was much smaller, around knee to waist high.

I just put the new lens on, it's a 3-8mm where the original was a 4mm, so slightly wider and quite a bit longer views. About the same clarity, that's just the limits of this camera, it's fairly old now. I'll have it up and running Friday morning hopefully.

I set up a web page that shows the current picture and automatically reloads every 60 seconds.
Webcam with auto reload
That way you don't have to keep hitting reload to be live.

I swear those things are moving towards me and will come through the screen and kill me! :smile:
