Yeah it looks really shady. The company making the old style carbon fiber hulls is in Japan. There is a new X2 and that is what it looks like. That company is also making the carbon fiber new x2's. The company is mawa.... something. David B. knows all about it or will chime in anytime now. The new x2 is made here in the states and shipped overseas and what not. I wonder if they sell them in Canada? That would be funny.

As a owner of 2 2006 X-2's, I can say that most of the stuff in those boats are old junk, looks like there are trying to clear out the 2nd hand spares.
The hull will be 36kg lighter than stock, not 60kg lighter but I have seen much better work from Maekawa and Speedmagic. The hull is for racing, not shortened for backflips.

the one isnt even an x2....its an aftermarket lightweight hull...
