all I did was pop rivit some .040 aluminum to kinda flatten the area above the seat out then turfed to cover it up....it was easy...then on top I cut the edges down and two layers of turf...

iceracer, congrats thats a great ski

what exhaust mani are you using and are the yami and kawi FPP headpipes the same ? if not, which did u use ??

it is the 90 and later stock kawi with the divider....I ported it to match the head pipe...the factory head pipe is all the same ...they make one to fit all now...I bought it new from Factory last september...if you contact them ...they don't like to split just head pipe with no chamber...So I begged for them to take my money....the all mighty dollar won again!!!!:starwars:

Hey guy's, if you come across a westcoast manifold, they are huge inside compared to a stocker, and have the solid top for easy port matching. FYI Whats your starting point on the jetting?

jetting

I ran the same set up last year only with a big pin cylinder....I had 77.5 low and 175 high 1.5 out on the low screws and 1 out on the high....it had plenty of fuel...it ran fine but could go leaner....this year I started @ 75 low and 165 high...about the same on the screws...I upped the pop off from 18 to 23psi due to a dribbler....on carb kept leaking...after shut down...i changed the needle and seat...but no help....so I verified needle pivots were level and just upped it...of course it sound great on the lift...but if you start there you should'nt have a lean issue...I know kyle has siezed @ 170 mains....so be careful
