Holy cow this stuff must be like gold, i can't find it anywhere, is there anyplace to by threebond 1211 that i don't have to have it shipped to me, no autoparts stores seem to even know what it is,
any ideas?

If you have a dealer near you, yamabond is made by 3bond and is the same product. Works just as well. Same with the suzuki and kawasaki case sealants.:wink:

korn, my cases and a film of it on my crank seals, then i can go to your parents and get my cyl's adn have a complete motor

Matt need it this weekend so don't want to deal with shipping, thanks though

I had used yamabond several times before they changed to Yamabond 4 and it worked well. The last cases I put together with Yamabond 4 did not seal well and leaked. I had to take the engine apart about 3 months later for a bad crank bearing and the cases had not sealed worth a crap. I have since used Threebond 1211 and everything is staying sealed. Maybe I just got a bad tube but I think I will only use 1211 from now on. i just wanted to get this work done this weekend and figured it would be easy to find locally, but not at all, i will try to call some bike shops tomorrow, but i have read a few good post about yamabond
