i took a umi turnplate, cut it, and drilled it to accept straight 7/8" aluminum stock. works killer!

Had a similar setup on my Kawi and it worked great as well!

Why would you have two different footholds, like in the camel picture above. Any advantage for surf stance setup? Whose boat is that Carter?

turbo,for all the new one foot one hand inverted tricks,looks weird though. I love that RRP setup as well,those bars are a good idea as well,id like to ride them before i purchase them though cause like you said the price is not very likable,kinda ridiculous.

I have NO idea on the weight...It is built with the same style construction as the ENVY in daytona...
half carbon half glass with a carbon bulkhead
handlaid with a layer of chop over the top..billet stringers which are plexus'd and glassed to the hull
the hood is not heavy, but not light...and feels unbelieveably strong (to me at least) with nice liner
Once I get it back from Nick with foam/holds and turf Ill take it over and weigh it..then again once its built

sounds like a fun boat,lifting it in the garage it really felt light,One of the junkies here just found a pretty much brand new fx1 he is selling.Was thinking about it,but i never seem to like other hulls as much as the SJ with tubbies,and ive tried a bunch.Id like to put some more time on a fx to get a better feel for one though.Really like to try a 08 hull also
