08 SXR Build

Hey guys just figured I would let you in on my build I Just Blowsioned all my money away anyway here is the list:

RRP Handpole
UMI steering system
Zero degree bars
Blowsion Chin pad
Limiting rope
Blowsion Throttle Lever
FPP Wet pipe
JSU girdled head kit 29cc domes
Blowsion flame arrestors
Carbon Rails
Kicker footwells
Stitched mat kit
T adjustment screws
Rpm tach with memory

Ill post pics soon once I get progress going here I am pretty nervous about the foothold install so I may be looking for help from the guru's one here. Anyway if anyone has any advice or somthing I should know before taking on this build let me know thanks!!

It's all fairly straightforward. It should be a fun ski with those mods.

Is there a need for rejetting after the install of the pipe and head or are the jets that come with the pipe usually pretty good

go with turf. don't do the stitched mat stuff.

Hydro turf looks a ton better in my opinion and gives you more traction than a slick mat.

Well I got off to a good start so far got the rrp pole on looks sick that went smooth had to sand the bushings a little other than that all good and tonight got my pipe in tomorrow I will begin the dreaded foothold install a little worried but should be fine I'm sure I'll be posting tomorrow with help questions anyway I'll post pics soon

It's not too bad mate, just measure those holds up real good and be careful of the exhaust tube on the right hand side. Check out mu build page....

i had the blowion stiched mat kit on my kawi 750. i actually like it. anyway ur gunna save urself some headache with that being that its already pre cut. ther are plenty of pics on people build threads on how they installed footholds. u can check mine below. i thought that turfing was harder than actually installing the footwells. just get ready to get dusty

You have to rejet or you will go boom! LOL
With JSU 28cc domes and a Factory wet pipe
Mains 152.5
Pilot 80
High speed 1/2
Low 3/4
Everything else was stock, make sure you start out fat and follow the instructions.

Oh yeah and if youre freestylin, duct tape up that huge hole in the front of that hood young man!
