it was dieseling... it can happen out of teh water when you rev the engine becuase the plug tips can get red-hot and not have time to cool down so they ignite the incoming fuel charge upon compression without any spark... not relaly "dieseling" becuase that would be ignition caused by...

Hey guys, I'm looking at a square nose in NJ for $1000. its a 650, but i have a 701 sitting in my workshop that just needs assembly, has elctronics too and a blaster b-pipe. How hard would it be to put this plant in this SJ? is this ski worth the 20 hour round trip and 150 bucks in diesel?

its not experimental, go to www.howstuffworks.com and look at the rotary engine under "car stuff".... the Mazda or Nissan RX-8 has a rotary engine

i wouldnt worry about it, ive towed a lot of small trailers and never had one even come remotly close to rolling

its harder here in northern maine... i'm also a senior, but most of the guys here really want to buy a pick-up more than anything, so its hard to get them to buy anything else... also i have friends dropping 2 grand a year on skiing equipment, so its hard to get them to convert to somethign else...

if i built a show ski i think id want an exotic powerplant in it, something NO ONE else has, there would ahve to be a TON of custom work, but if it was a show ski, then thats what its made for. i think that thread about the artic cat F1000 twin would be cool, or any high-displacment 2-stroke...
