    I would look into riveting it like a lot of aluminum boats. Welding brings it back to -0 heat treatment. If you do weld I would anneal the entire hull.

    I once left my twin rule 500's on for like 5 hours and it was fine. Also, I ran a float switch for about an hour a few years ago. It didn't take long for the plastic thing to explode. Plus it needs a lot of room to float up and you will have to have several inches of water in before it turns on.

    05 Superjet don't start

    Open the ebox and arc the 2 contacts in the starter sulounoid. If it cranks, its either the sulonoid or the start switch. The start switch can be tested with a meter. Unplug the black/white wire harness going to the ebox also and try to hit the start button. Post back up and let us know.
