I threw the 650 nozzle and turn nozzle on this weekend and noticed it binds when turning right with the sxi pro steering. I think im going to put my 750 sx nozzle back on and stay with that.
I had the same problem on 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the ride plate on. I ended up having to drill them out with a reverse drill bit of course. I then ran a tapper through the ones I didn't hit the threads on to clean them up and i ran a size or two bigger for the one I fugged up. They are...
I assume this requires removal of the head to drill the hole and tap it? If so I would need to get a head gasket kit when I put it back on? Although if I take the head off why not swap it with a SXR or what would you guys do?
Sounds good, ill check the compression and see if there is anyone in north western wisco that does that type of engine work just incase. This ski is also bone stock. Anything you guys recommend for upgrades if the engine is still good? Solas impeller and scoop grate is what's on there so far.

Apparently the 4 bolts that hold the air filter base to the top of the twin carb vibrated loose. That then caused the bolts to shave/grind on the top lip of the carb creating very fine metal...
