Sad to say my first post is about metal shavings getting sucked down through the carb but...
Apparently the 4 bolts that hold the air filter base to the top of the twin carb vibrated loose. That then caused the bolts to shave/grind on the top lip of the carb creating very fine metal shavings. I noticed fairly soon because I lost a lot of power on the low end.
My question now is what should I do? Do I tear apart the engine or rip apart the carb and pray that all the shavings were caught in the reeds? Am i ready to throw a bigger engine in?
Thanks
