no foam for a surf boat is not a good idea... if it was, dont you think Blowsion, RIVA, JSU, EME etc etc etc would be selling boats this way? foam doesnt add that much weight...if you are concerned with 2 part foam then use polystyrene, reinforce the piss out of the tray and call it good...
