do yourself a favor and mix a little m.e.k. and mineral spirits (where gloves OUTSIDE) and use a scrubrush or scotch brite pad to degrease and clean the engine first. then mask off or use vasoline in hard to reach places.best to do several thin coats rather that fewer heavier ones. i used gloss...

are we talking about cylinder base bolts or head bolts? base bolts 60 to 80 (a estimate) head bolts 18-22

i know they require additional tork as they are a larger bolt. guessing in the 80ft lb range, he should'nt have to loctite those, i've never had them come loose on me before. but anyway, make sure the threads are clean and dry before appling it, if they have any oil on them it won't work properly..

i believe you are correct. i used to work there and i remember getting it from time to time. whether or not they still carry it i don't know.
