I just tried my hood mod out yesterday and it worked great. I got the idea from slutthood. It seemed like it had more power, I'm guessing because of more air flow. Also 80% less water inside. ..... I just followed along and put my own touches. It was kind of messy but not hard. Cheap too.

If you want to see some great marsh footage, I'm sure us guys from Louisiana can get together and find some awesome locations.

I have single rule 500 pump. Is that enough , or do I need 2?

I think someone said this is the factory scupper. I have a bilge pump, would I still need this? If so the hole that is in it, is that ok?

I forgot to take pics of when I glued and screwed it down but it was dune before glassed. And let dry for 12 hrs before. Then I glasses each foothold and then glassed them together. .... The glass may look a little crappy to some of you vets but it looked pretty good for this first timer.

Next I prefit the footholds and sanded the area that will get glued.
