Newbie foothold install.

I'm a newbie in the standup game , but with trust of the x I went ahead and installed me some rickter footholds with mat kit from wamilton. So here it is.. The first few pics are ski with regular turf, then all taken off and cleaned up.

I cleaned the tray with acetone and a sander. I then traced the foothold templete from wamilton and cut it with a die grinder. The exhaust pipe wasent in the way so I didnt have to do any adjustments.

Next I prefit the footholds and sanded the area that will get glued.

I forgot to take pics of when I glued and screwed it down but it was dune before glassed. And let dry for 12 hrs before. Then I glasses each foothold and then glassed them together. .... The glass may look a little crappy to some of you vets but it looked pretty good for this first timer.

And here is the finsh look. I must say everyone was a very big help in the other post. To any newbies out there thinking of installing footholds, just do it . ITs not that hard.


Oh yea the other pics are my hood mod in the process.
