800 SXR motor will kill it. If you put a lightened flywheel, msd enhancer, bump the compression up to 180psi the 701 will be close...

I switched back to the stock flame arrestor also...keeps out more water than an aftermarket and lets in the same ammoujnt of air...just a better design. Stock SXR motors put out ALOT of power....just the heavy stock hull makes it feel only a little faster than a 701, when in reality it is...

I agree. A factory pipe (properly installed), milled head and lightened flywheel (by Group K or LPW) will not give you any reliability issues.... Good winter project. Cone barely does anything... I would bore your nozzle instead(to get a little more bottom end)
