I say run both...my old 24-7 scupper didn't leak one drop. with my new pump dump scupper water just pours in. My boat will SINK in 5 minutes...Glad I have an 1100gph bilge pump.....I might just have to put a plug in the scupper tube. I can't get the damn thing to stop pouring in water.

SUNK? Has to be water in fuel and water in carbs...A water bubble could be blocking fuel from getting to your motor.... Just open them up and spray em down with carb cleaner...reassemble Start/Stop switch is my second guess... :smashfreakB:

I use the 3/4" fitting with my 1100...just get a reducer for the hose. The water shoots out like 7 feet from the hull!

Air leak for sure! 1. Check fuel lines to make sure they are tight and not cracked. 2. Tighten down all intake parts (carbs, intake) 3. Tighten down Cyllinder to Cases (often comes loose) 4. If those don't fix it, crank seals (not usually a problem on a Kawi) If it continues, replace...
