is the motor freshly built? has it been run yet? if there is oil in the cyl it will give you an INCREASED reading on compression....

its not your riding style, there is a mechanical issue no doubt..... unless its something silly like assembling the pipe with a 1/4" ratchet and your getting enough torque on the bolts..

only if they're improperly setup........ broken mounts or too low an idle could both increase vibration.....I'd check the driveline as well.. have NEVER seen anyone ever have to safety wire anything outside of PV assemblies...

well, the pump didnt just "go south" if the driveline was making noise all last season you were wearing the shaft everytime you rode it... with ANY kind of driveline modification you must be conscious of the pump/shafts...and make sure they are tight and properly aligned... the SJ...

DUDE! butti had one of those with a groupK 1300+ kit in it.......I never got to ride it, but they way he always described it was "sled power!"

ive seen many of these things just siliconed in....Ive always used 5200

the further out the ball the faster the steering gets.........adjustment also becomes more critical, but its hard to break cables with UMI steering plates... they just dont have very much throw at all
