    130psi compression (is this bad?)

I have used a crappy compression guage that worked perfect on my car (175lbs on each cylinder) but when I put it on my SXR it only gave 124lbs on front 121lbs on back. Then took to a shop, they used a snap-on and the difference was exactly the same (3 lbs difference between the same...

    Waterbox exploded

I have only owned a 750 sx, but from my understanding there should be no difference in the mounting. Any 750 standup water box should fit in any 750 stand up.

    Engine transplant Yama. to Kawi.

Just b/c I am tired of saving up money for my superjet I was thinking about throwing my 800 sxr engine in the Round nose. I would never really ever do it, but at least I would have practically as much power as a stocker 701 with a b-pipe if I did. Just a thought, but only a thought.

    Waterbox exploded

They referred to welding your waterbox that blew up was aluminum, but if it a stock fiberglass one, there is no sense in repairing it.

    Waterbox exploded

On the 750 you can just remove the exhuast and manifold to get it in, but I would rather lift the whole engine. My buddies B1's waterbox blew up on us like that too. It sat for a day or two and the next it was started it was so loud. Like previously stated it almost sounded like a shotgun.

    300/440/550 Kawasaki Start/Stop Switches

Well if you decide against black I have the grey one with lanyard, but if you don't like using a lanyard just put a zip tie under the button where you would normally place the lanyard.

    Water in fuel

I could be wrong, but isn't there a problem with leaving the cap off, which would be that what if your ski full of water and it rolls on it side, the hole in the bottom of that cap will allow water right into the tank. But I'm new to SuperJets so I'm probably wrong.

    Round or Square????

I just made the same switch. Still have my SXR, but I ended up with roundie instead of a square. Go for the roundie, more parts are available, and it is a damn good looking ski. I am able to do so much more on my practically bone stock round nose compared to my SXR. I would say the best way...

    300/440/550 Kawasaki Start/Stop Switches

I don't know what x2 had stock but the 650 sx had that funky start stop switch that had the swtiches one on top of each other compared to practically all other kawasaki start/stop switch that have the red and green buttons side by side. The older 440/550 style didn't have the lanyard, but the...

    Water in fuel

I believe the bulb that the others are refering to only came on 98 plus, b/c I have a 97 and it has the same deal at the end of the green hose that you have described (clear straw looking tube that is pinched together at the end with a hold on each side). 98 year plus has a water seperator deal...

    hydroturfing the gas tank??????

Damn that would be kinda cool as carpet in a room or a vehicle. Never would have thought of it. Some do it and take pictures. I have never bought carpet for anything before; are the prices between hydroturf and carpet comparable?

    engine runs away - revisited

What exactly do you mean? Can you explain in more detail. My ski didn't dosen't have the vent tube bubble thingy in the handlepole, and it has the little water seperator that is on the exhaust side of the ski with the little cap on the bottom. In addition I believe I have the stock fuel...

    SuperJet saves the day...

I have towed a 27 foot bayliner before with my SXR from behind the break wall in my local harbor all the way to the launch ramps. It was no problem.
